Wednesday, March 10th

Barcelona

Breakfast                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Visit la Sagrada Familia Basilica Picasso Museum Lunch along La Rambla: the busiest boulevard in Barcelona  with everything from flamenco street performers to pick pockets. Explore the atmospheric Barri GoticGet lost in the labrinthine streets. Stop and see Cathederal de la Seu.  One of the most beautiful cathederals in Western Europe.
Montjuic: Walk along the sea, visit the gardens, many museums.
Evening: Dinner, head to la Catederal to watch, join in the Sardana (dancing done during lent) strolling, tapas.


Thursday, March 11th

Barcelona-Madrid
Pick up rental car and drive to Mountserrat and visit the monastery.
Leave for Madrid, about a 5 hour drive

Arrive Madrid, drop off car at airport, head to hostel.
Stroll through Plaza Mayor, eat, check out nightlife.

Friday, March 12th

Madrid
Sleep In, breakfast
Stroll through plaza mayor
take bike tour of Madrid
lunch
visit royal palaces and parks
dinner
tapas
nightlife

Saturday, March 13th

Madrid-Seville
Sleep in, stroll through the beautiful parks, relax.
Catch high speed train to Seville at 2.

Arrive in Seville at 4:30, head to hostel.
Eat and explore the city.

Morning Trip To Italica: Italica was founded in 206 B.C.  and rose to prominence during the reign of Hadrian in the 2nd century AD.  Hadrian was one of three Roman emperors born here.

Monday, March 15th

Seville-London
Explore Seville until we have to catch our flight to London at 10:15p.m.
Rent bikes to explore more parts of the city.
Arrive at airport outside of London around 12 midnight. Catch bus to downtown London.
Arrive at hostel around 2, and sleep.

Tuesday, March 16th
London

Breakfast, walk through Hyde Park.
Westminster Abbey This early English Gothic abbey is the shrine of the nation, and most of England’s kings and queens have been crowned here — and many are buried here as well.
The Houses of Parliament & “Big Ben” Guarded over by “Big Ben” (the world’s most famous timepiece), the former royal Palace of Westminster shelters both the House of Lords and the House of Commons and has done so since the 11th century.
Continue walking north along Whitehall until you reach:
No. 10 Downing St. The official residence of the prime minister isn’t much of a sight and is rather modest, but it’s been the home of everybody from Sir Winston Churchill to Margaret Thatcher.
After that look, continue north to:
Trafalgar Square The hub of London, this is Britain’s most famous square and the scene of many a demonstration.
Right on this square, you can enter the:
Covent Garden The old fruit-and-vegetable market of Eliza Doolittle fame is long gone, and the market has been recycled into one of the most bustling and exciting sections of London today.

Black Taxi Tour of Belfast We’ll be shown the sites both Catholic and Protestant marking the years of struggle, death, and finally a tentative peace.

12:30 Titanic Walking Tour The tour starts at the Odyssey Arena and takes in the new Titanic Quarter development, the HMS Nomadic (the tender ship which ferried passengers out to the Titanic), the Harland & Wolff drawing office, the Titanic slipways (where it was built) and the Thompson Dock and Pump House (where it was launched in April 1912).

Catch a play at Belfast’s Grand Opera House Night out on the town.
